The Professional Development committee offers resources, networking and workshops in order to prepare our UW-HOSA members to succeed in their specific health-care field.

Chris Hayden

Hello! My name is Chris Hayden and I am a Junior majoring in Pharmacology and Toxicology. My professional interest is Pharmacy. My other interests are hanging out with my friends (Like everyone else), basketball, volleyball, swimming, football, listening to music, baseball and softball. One fun fact about me is that in high school I was hit by a baseball bat and fractured my nose. I was swinging the bat. What I love most about HOSA is how you get to meet a lot of cool people in various aspects of healthcare but can still receive specialized info on your field.

Briana Nielsen

Hi! My name is Briana Nielsen and I am a Senior majoring in Zoology and hoping to be a Physician Assistant. My interests include club lacrosse, UHS student medical assistant and student coordinator for CBE. One interesting fact is that I grew up in Bloomington, MN where the Mall of America is located. What I love most about HOSA is the many different medical professions members are interested in and bringing all those people together to become friends.
