Mission Statement:

Special events endeavors to create an enriching event each semester for the entire campus community.  Our goal is for these events to promote HOSA as an organization and advance its impact on campus.  As well as aiming to crate educational opportunities for those interested in healthcare.

Hi! My name is Brett Peters and I am a Senior majoring in Psychology and hoping to become a college professor.  Other interests of mine include hanging out withfriends, flag football, water sports, politics and video games.  One fun fact about me is that I own an inflatable monkey named Monk-Monk.  What I love most about HOSA is that a wide variety of people can come together to learn more about healthcare and have a lot of fun while doing it.

Hello, my name is Kristin Motello and I am a Senior majoring in sociology with a certificate in global health.  I hope to become a Physical Therapist.  I like to play frisbee, run and hangout with friends.  I also volunteer at Meriter Hospital.  I am a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority and I work at the Exploration Center for Majors and Careers.  One fun fact about myself is that I ran a half marathon last summer and hope to run a full marathon soon.  What I love most about HOSA is meeting new people from across all pre-healthcare professions.  It is a great way to build new friendships and relationships with people I wouldn’t normally meet.  Overall, joining HOSA has been a great experience for me this past 4 years and I have made so many great friends and have had unique and fun experiences!

Hello! My name is Sarah Riedeman and I am a Sophomore majoring in Communicative Disorders. My professional interests include Speech Language Pathology.  Other interests of mine include Shakespeare (and other classic literature), playing with my dog, Comet, frolfing, and watching Wisconsin sports teams (Badgers, Brewers, Packers).  A fun fact about me is
that I grew up on a dairy farm in Rosendale, WI.  I love cows, corn, tractors, combines and small towns.  What I love most about HOSA is that it is a welcoming organization.  They will make you laugh, smile and feel welcome on your first day!
