Janel Draxler

My name is Janel Draxler and I am a 5^th year senior.  My major is Nursing and my professional interest is Public Health Nurse.  Other interests of mine include working at the Financial Aid Office, hanging out with friends, shopping and reading.  A fun fact about me is that I studied abroad in the Dominican Republic.  What I love about HOSA is the variety of events that will make me a well-rounded health professional.  I also love the friendships made.

Cassie Terpstra

Hello! My name is Cassie Terpstra and I am one of your Student Advisors for 2011-2012.  I am majoring in Psychology and pursuing a Certificate in Global Health and will be one of the first students to graduate with this certificate this coming December.  I am planning to become a PA, although I have not thought of what area I  would like to work in.  I currently hold two jobs at the UW-Hospital including working as a Clerical Students in the Department of Pediatrics as well as being an ECG Technician.  I have many other interests including hanging out with friends, swimming, Zumba, shopping, and cooking. A fun fact about me is that I was once the Wisconsin Guernsey Princess, although I live in a city. (If you don’t know what a Guernsey is, come talk to me.  I would love to explain!)  I love HOSA because it is a great way to build relationships between future healthcare professionals and gives each of us an opportunity to learn and grow together.  If you have any questions about school, your future, my interests, or just want to talk about the weather, come find me!
