As a pre-health major, you are most likely looking for a way to get more involved on campus while strengthening your resume and preparing for the next level of schooling. By becoming involved in UW-HOSA, you will have the opportunity to build your professional resume in fun and innovative ways that allow you to get involved in the campus as well as the community. We accept any kind of pre-health major including:

Membership Requirements
In order to achieve Official Membership Status, the following requirements must be met. They are each dependent on the membership status that fits your schedule.

*Events must be from at least 3 different committees in order for them to count towards the membership requirement.
*Dues are $35.00 per year or $25.00 per semester. They must be paid to UW-HOSA in cash or check by the 4th general meeting each semester.
*Committee Members are required to to attend all committee meetings and actively participate in the committee activities.
*Special circumstances, such as night exams or other valid excuses, will be considered in regards to missed committee and general meetings. Only one committee meeting may be missed due to a special circumstance in order to still fulfill the set of requirements. To simplify, if you miss 2 committee meetings, one of them must be because of a valid excuse. Reasons for a missed meeting must be emailed to and accepted by your committee chair.
